Beginners of the valve always mistake the faucet for the valve. In fact, not also, the faucet belongs to the bathroom series in the strict sense. Valve is divided into gate valve, globe valve, butterfly valve, high pressure valve, low pressure valve, fluorine valve, safety valve, pressure relief valve, anti-corrosion valve, filter, check valve, pressure reducing valve, over-flow valve, ceramic valve, medium pressure valve, high temperature valve, low temperature valve and so on.
1. classification
▍ According to power points
1 Automatic valve
The valve that relies on the power of the medium itself. Such as check valve, pressure reducing valve, trap, safety valve, etc.
2 Actuated valve
Rely on human, electric power, hydraulic, pneumatic and other external forces to operate the valve. Such as globe valve, throttle valve, gate valve, disc valve, ball valve, plug valve, etc.
▍ According to structural characteristics
1 cut door shape: the closing part moves along the center line of the valve seat.
2 Gate shape: the closing member moves along the center line perpendicular to the valve seat.
3 Cock-shaped: The closing piece is a plunger or ball that rotates around its own centerline.
4 spin-off shape: the closing piece rotates around an axis outside the valve seat.
5 Disc-shaped: The closing member is a disc that rotates around an axis in the valve seat.
6 Slide valve shape: the closing member slides in the direction perpendicular to the channel.
▍ By use
1 breaking: used to cut off or connect the pipeline medium. Such as cut-off valve, gate valve, ball valve, plug valve, etc.
2 regulation: used to adjust the pressure or flow of the medium. Such as pressure reducing valve, regulating valve.
3 distribution: used to change the flow of the medium, play the role of distribution. Such as three-way cock, three-way stop valve, etc.
4 check back: used to prevent the media back flow. Such as check valve.
5 safety: in the medium pressure exceeds the specified value, the discharge of excess media, to ensure the safety of equipment. Such as safety valve, accident valve.
6 gas drainage: retained gas, condensate drainage. Such as traps.
▍ According to the manipulation method
1 manual valve: by hand wheel, handle, lever, sprocket, gear, worm gear, etc., by human to control the valve.
2 electric valve: the use of electricity to operate the valve.
3 Pneumatic valves: valves operated by compressed air.
4 hydraulic valve: with the help of water, oil and other liquids, the transfer of external force to control the valve.
According to the pressure points
1 Vacuum valve: a valve with an absolute pressure of less than 1kg/cm2.
2 Low pressure valve: valve with nominal pressure less than 16kg/cm2.
3 Medium pressure valve: valve with nominal pressure of 25-64kg/cm2.
4 high pressure valve: nominal pressure 100-800 kg/cm 2 valve.
5 Ultra-high pressure: Valves with nominal pressure up to or greater than 1000kg/cm2.
▍ According to the medium temperature
1 ordinary valve: suitable for medium working temperature -40 to 450 ℃ valve.
2 high temperature valve: suitable for medium working temperature 450 to 600 ℃ valve.
3 heat-resistant valve: suitable for medium working temperature above 600 ℃ valve.
4 Low temperature valve: suitable for medium working temperature -40 to -70 ℃ valve.
5 cryogenic valve: suitable for medium working temperature -70 to -196 ℃ valve.
6 ultra-low temperature valve: suitable for medium working temperature -196 ℃ below the valve.
▍ According to nominal diameter
1 small diameter valve: nominal diameter less than 40mm valve.
2 medium diameter valve: nominal diameter 50 to 300mm valve.
3 large diameter valve: nominal diameter 350 to 1200mm valve.
4 large diameter valve: nominal diameter greater than 1400mm valve.
The above classification is not absolute, but also from other angles to classify, but to master these basic classifications, we understand a wide range of valves have great benefits.
